What is a Newborn session?

A newborn photo session is a gentle, calm, slow session where your sleepy baby curls up into gorgeous poses to create adorable images. I will start by getting baby sleepy and happy, then wrap baby snuggly, and move through a variety of poses and props. I will get to know your baby, what baby likes to do, what baby doesn’t, and will ensure baby is happy throughout.

Newborn Session

Newborn photography session in my home Studio to capture adorable memories of your baby’s first precious days in gorgeous poses for the family album. These sessions take place within 14 days of birth. They are so tiny and sleepy at this age, allowing me to gently curl and pose baby into images that are just adorable.

The session lasts up to 3 hours allowing for plenty of feeding, changing, settling breaks. I work through different poses and have a variety of props, backdrops and wraps so there’s no need for you to worry about bringing anything with you other than your baby.

How it Works:

Pay a deposit when you book your session online. Bookings can be taken as soon as you’ve had your scan. I use your due date as a rough guide for my calendar, then you simply contact me once baby has arrived to confirm the best day and time for your session.

Come along to my Studio and enjoy your shoot. Sit back and relax while I capture adorable memories of your baby, this session will last up to 3 hours. The balance is due on the day of the session and can be paid by card machine or online.

After your photoshoot Vicki will create your gallery of beautifully edited images for you to choose from (typically within 2 weeks). You will then be emailed a link and login details for you to download the high resolution digital images from your private gallery.
